I love the Inca, it’s one of my favourite machines. The perfect blend of function and form. As an amateur astronomer and astroimager, everything about the Inca makes it more of a personal aid than simply a watch. A day doesn’t go past where I don’t want to know how long it is until sunset, how much darkness there will be, when the moon will be up, how bright it will be and for how long. All these questions are answered by a simple glance at my wrist. And having the ability to see all of this information at the press of a button for any other location on the planet, is something that when needed, is a godsend. No other watch that I’ve seen keeps you this informed as to the current and daily relationship between our planet, sun and moon. And it’s tough! I don’t think the sapphire glass can be scratched at all, without severally injuring yourself in the process. After wearing several versions of YES watches spanning over 7 years, I can’t imagine ever wearing a watch that is anything less.

These unique watches give you times for sunrise and sunset, moonrise and moonset, moon phase and digital time for wherever you are on the planet for the next century. On the main turning points of the sun, solstices and equinoxes, the YES watch displays a sun ray pattern. In addition to showing hours, minutes and seconds in AM/PM or 2400 hour miltary format, the watch also gives you month, date and day, week number, year, day of year, latitude, longitude and percentage lunar illumination. The watch also has a stopwatch, a timer, a countdown and an alarm with snooze. Plus a sunrise and sunset alarm just in case. It is a complex time piece, but once you get used to it, no other will offer this range of time data capability.
